The Trellis School offers a learning environment created especially for children with autism. Our services extend beyond the scope of special education in public schools—and provide a comprehensive curriculum and related services to help every child at our school learn, grow, and ultimately find happiness and success.
About Our School
The effects of autism can be difficult for children, and a school environment created especially for children with autism can offer services tailored to each child’s individual needs. Located in Sparks, Maryland, the Trellis School serves children in elementary, middle, and high school.
Our School Programs
Our school programs incorporate the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), with a focus on B.F. Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior (VB). Overall, we strive to capture a learner’s motivation to teach and reinforce new skills.
Our Services
At Trellis, we pride ourselves in providing an integrated model for related services. This allows for generalization and maintenance of skills acquired in related services sessions.
